Simon Fischer

Simon works on Maeson’s distribution team and manages relationships with an array of investors across geographies. Prior to joining Maeson, he consulted for several macro hedge funds after working at macro hedge fund WCG. Prior to WCG, Simon was a currency trader at Swiss Bank and the UBS currency fund. Before joining Swiss Bank, Simon worked at ABN Amro and prior to that, Bear Stearns, heading FX and options. Before Bear Stearns, Simon worked directly with the Treasurer of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York where he went on to trade currencies and became the co-head of options trading. Simon started his career at J.H. Rayner, trading metals on the London Metals Exchange. He then worked in the money markets for Capel Court in Australia. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce and is Series 7 and 63 licensed.
